Establishment and Vision

Podhigai College of Engineering and Technology (PCET) was established in the year 2009 by the Kamaraj Educational Charitable Trust, Tirupattur. The institution is led by the renowned Chairman Thiru. Rtn.B.Ganeshmul, and Secretary Thiru.Rtn. Yelagiri V.Selvam, and is known for their commitment to impart technical education in a disciplinary environment. These pioneering educators established the Engineering Colleges with an idea of bringing out institutions with highly eminent and talented engineers to serve any part of the world.

Infrastructure Enhancement

By 2015, the college had significantly upgraded its infrastructure, introducing state-of-the-art laboratories, a computerized library with reprographic facilities, and a 1 GB intranet connecting 300 nodes with 10 Mbps internet speed. These enhancements facilitated advanced learning and research opportunities for students and faculty alike.
